Angela Samartano is a social media marketing strategist who partners with solopreneurs, small businesses, and creative individuals to grow their personal and professional brands. Angela has spent the last decade working in digital marketing through a cornucopia of positions ranging from writer to blog owner and editor in chief and from social media manager to social strategy consultant. Angela knows how to truly drive conversions through organic content, strategic planning, and tactical execution. Through her tenures at Red Light Management and International Culinary Center, she was directly responsible for having grown client accounts to new social milestones – most notably Tiësto’s 20-million fan mark on Facebook and Musical Freedom (his label) reaching 100,000 subscribers on YouTube.
As a digital maven for a wide spectrum of verticals, Angela’s experiences range from traveling as an on-site artist liaison for social media content creation and activations at major music festivals to coordinating a multi-day culinary-focused conference. She currently utilizes personal and professional social handles including @authenticangela, @authenticeats, and @theauthenticliving to grow her own personal brands in the social sphere.

Angela holds a BS in Advertising and Marketing Communications from the Fashion Institute of Technology.
Planning and program management for Musical Freedom Radio [Episodes 11 - 30] in which the premise encouraged guest artists to explore their own 'musical freedom' by playing an exclusive 60-minutes encompassing a genre outside of their traditional live playlist. Angela was responsible for liaising with the artist(s) and artist(s) management on behalf of the label to create programming, graphic design, social video creation, and social media timeline for each episode.
Conceptualizing, planning, and executing on video content for the International Culinary Center to visually illustrate the overall marketing message on various social platforms. Creator and director of video series concepts 'Alumni Spotlight' and 'Holiday Hacks' and more to showcase alumni and chef-instructors as thought leaders within the culinary space.
